Description

Despatch preparation sits in the sales cycle between the order and the delivery note. One preparation groups together customer order lines handed to one or more operators. They enter the quantities picked and the matching packaging, in one of two ways: item by item, an item being allowed to spread over several pallets, or package by package, listing what each pallet holds. Four customisable packaging levels are available, from the container down to the parcel, and both EAN13 and EAN14 codes are supported, including for sales packs. A dedicated tab summarises the packing list by top-level package and accepts entry of the batch or serial number. Labels and reports follow custom print templates, with several barcode formats on offer. Delivery notes and transport orders are generated from the preparation.
