Description

Fit-out contractors, makers of point-of-sale displays and sign makers get an ERP built around the way they sell: the quotation is split into located sections and sub-sections, and each work item carries a detailed description whose price is set either as a whole or at component level. Items created for one particular quotation remain usable throughout the project. A furniture model configurator produces each item according to its dimensions and surface finish. Requests for supplier quotations are launched straight from the quotation. On the contract side, the tool tracks progress against the contract: interim applications, invoicing to a plan or to work done, deposits, variations, price revisions and retentions; it prints a project sheet bringing together the commercial and technical details. Production relies on the drawings and instructions being filed with the job, on printing the packs for the workshop and then for the fitters, on booking by barcode scanner or handheld terminal, on detailed site planning and on a project review of hours and materials.
