Description
DIAMAX DP edge rounding cutters with tracing roller and are designed for use on Homag (Brandt) edge banding machines. Their field of application covers rounding edge bands in solid wood, veneer and plastics. Stated design features: a cutter with tracing and an integrated torque control system, a plastic torque control system to protect the workpiece, roller bearing mounting and max. speed = 18,000 rpm. Claimed strengths: high precision and good machining results thanks to the integrated tracing. The series comprises 5 versions: outside diameter of 65 mm, bore of 16 mm and 4 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: constant basic dimensions a and D1, only one direction of rotation is needed for this application, and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
