DIAMAX multi-profile edge rounding cutters CM DP LEUCO, Homag equips Homag (Brandt) edgebanders with 2-profile technology. Uses foreseen by the manufacturer: rounding edgebanding in softwood, hardwood, veneer and plastic. Execution details noted by the manufacturer: with an axial angle, a polished rake face, optimal clearance, and n max = 24,000 rpm. Benefits stated in use: very long edge life compared with the HW version of the cutterhead, optimised chip removal (ChipMeister), no chip fouling of the machine, and no chip-related stoppages. The range comes in 20 versions: outside diameter from 74,24 to 74,67 mm, bore of 16 mm, cutting width of 14 mm and 4 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP).
