Description
DP cylindrical head boring bits LEUCO are designed for use on automatic drilling machines and CNC machining centres. Their field of application covers chip-free drilling in raw, laminated and veneered wood-based materials. Stated design features: 2 DP stabilisers with chip breakers, 2 DP scribers, HW centring point and multiple regrinds possible. Claimed strengths: long tool life in abrasive materials, economical because it can be reground several times, and perfect centring thanks to the centring point. The series comprises 4 versions: drilling diameter from 15 to 35 mm, shank of 10 mm, overall length from 57.5 to 70 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: cylindrical shank with flat, adjusting screw Ident-No. 001600 M5x10 DIN 551 for precise length setting included in delivery, and adjusting screw Ident-No. 186017 M5x11.5 for the Weeke quick-change drill chuck is to be ordered separately.
