DP edge rounding cutters DIAMAX HSK 25R LEUCO, Homag FF, IMA are designed for use on Homag edge banding machines with FF units and on IMA machines. Their field of application covers rounding edge bands in solid wood, veneer and plastics. Stated design features: polished tooth face, polished clearance face, with axial angle and max. speed = 24,000 rpm. Claimed strengths: excellent cut quality thanks to a high level of concentricity and vibration-free rotation. The series comprises 22 versions: outside diameter from 75.1 to 81.2 mm and number of teeth from 4 to 6. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: constant basic dimensions a and D1, Z = 4 for feed rates of 20 to 30 m/min, and Z = 6 for feed rates of 30 to 45 m/min.
