Description

DP facing cutters LEUCO equip double-end tenoners and edge banding machines. Applications intended by the manufacturer: the chip-free facing of melamine-faced, paper-coated and PVC-coated, laminated and veneered wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: sharpening zone 3.5 mm, swept axial angle, Ø 150 mm: max. speed = 12,000 rpm / Ø 200 mm: max. speed = 9,000 rpm, and two-piece with spacer rings. Benefits claimed in use: a tool adjustable three times = four tool lives per regrind. The article group brings together 3 versions: outside diameter from 150 to 200 mm, bore from 30 to 35 mm, cutting width of 22 mm and number of teeth from 3 to 5. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: the stated feed rates apply for a rotation of Ø = 150 mm: n = 9,000 rpm / Ø = 200 mm: n = 6,000 rpm, and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
