DP shank profile grooving cutter LEUCO, for Lamello Clamex P is aimed at 5-axis CNC machines, intended for milling Lamello Clamex P® grooves and in particular for deep milling at the top of the panel where this cannot be done with standard Lamello Clamex P® bore-type tools on angle transmission units. In terms of design, LEUCO provides: brazed DP, a single-use (disposable) tool, and a solid carbide tool body. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: solves clearance problems with angle transmission where the unit fouls when using bore-type tools of Ø 100.4 mm. The range comes in 1 version: outside diameter of 10 mm, shank of 12 mm, overall length of 70 mm and 1 tooth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). To consider before ordering: depending on the quality required, pre-milling with a negative carbide finishing cutter may be worthwhile (in the case of coatings prone to tearing) to reduce the cutting force when profiling grooves.
