Cladding
Description
With the Duo profile, each Océwood composite cladding board imitates a wide open-joint screen: two visible boards are designed into a single 210 mm-wide profile (191 mm visible after assembly), 3200 mm long and 21 mm thick, i.e. 0.61 m² per board. The look of an open-joint cladding is achieved without the installation constraints of a true open-joint screen. The material combines flax shives and recycled PVC, produced less than 100 km from the Vendée workshop, and its Tech.Sture printed finish offers six wood colors: Light Oak, Teak, Ipé, Red Cedar, Raw Oak, Ashen Oak. It is fixed with screws onto class 2 pine battens at least 27 mm thick, installed over a rain screen, with a rodent-proof grille in accordance with DTU 41.2. The expansion gaps specified in the instructions must be respected: 10 mm at butt joints against the corner finishing profiles, 15 mm before the end profile, screws at least 8 mm from the edge of the slots. Horizontal or vertical installation, for new builds or renovations.
