EuroCNC PG-X5 5-axis CNC machining centre

Description

The PG-X5 is a five-axis machining and milling centre with simultaneous interpolation on all axes. It is aimed at mould production as well as at the direct machining of hard materials, and finds its use in boat building, staircase manufacture and prototyping. The Z height starts at 700 mm and can be taken up to 2000 mm, to order. The helical rack-and-pinion drive relies on German-made harmonic gearboxes and on servomotors, with doubled prismatic guides. The welded steel frame is surfaced under five-axis CNC control, and the hybrid vacuum table is completed by pneumatic positioning stops. The machine is supplied with a PC controller and an automatic six-tool changer. A mist sprayer, a laser safety barrier and bespoke formats are among the options. Six table formats are listed, from 1300 × 1300 to 2000 × 5000 mm.
