Description
Hardrock 2 nu is a dual-density stone wool board whose upper face is of higher density and identifiable by a marking, ensuring that it is laid the right way up on site. Its compressibility class is B. It is intended for non-accessible flat roofs on a profiled steel or timber deck, beneath a mechanically fixed synthetic waterproofing membrane. The upper layer reaches 220 kg/m³ and the lower layer 135 to 150 kg/m³, for a compressive stress of CS(10/Y)50 kPa, a tensile strength of TR15 kPa and a point load of PL(5)500 N. The declared thermal conductivity λ is 0.039 W/(m·K) and the reaction to fire A1. Three thicknesses are listed, 50, 60 and 80 mm in 1200 x 1000 mm format, for thermal resistances from 1.25 to 2.05 m²·K/W. The product is covered by a technical application document.
