Their field of application covers facing, rebating and grooving aluminium or copper alloy materials and non-ferrous materials, and angled plunging with simultaneous use of the Z and X or Y axes. Stated design features: positive helix and polished chip clearance. Claimed strengths: particularly suited to working high-silicon aluminium, optimal chip clearance and excellent cut quality thanks to the polished chip clearance and the positive helix, and reduced cutting force thanks to the radius. The series comprises 5 versions: outside diameter from 5 to 12 mm, shank from 6 to 12 mm, overall length from 70 to 120 mm and 1 tooth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW).
