Description

High-performance rebating shank cutters p-System CM DP equip 5-axis machining centres and deliver finished quality in fibrous materials such as textile- or linoleum-coated panels with jute fibres and so on. Applications intended by the manufacturer: the chip-free rebating of solid wood (knot-free) along and across the grain and the rebating of coated panels (melamine-faced, paper-coated, HPL, veneered and lacquered). Design details given by the manufacturer: extreme shear cut and use on a spindle inclined by 5°. The article group brings together 3 versions: outside diameter of 100 mm, shank of 25 mm, overall length from 99 to 120 mm and 3 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: recommended feed per tooth: wood-based materials 0.5 - 0.8 mm, solid wood 0.25 - 0.4 mm, and clamping: precision clamping such as ps-System, TRIBOS, shrink-fit chuck.
