Description
The VC-SHK is a Holtec log cross-cut saw of the Vario-Cut type fitted with a package transport carriage and a fixed cross-cutting station. Positioning is done by an electrically driven carriage, and during the cut the chain bar can be tilted into the package at an angle of 0 to 15°, which allows partial packages to be cut at any height. The saw slot is opened by a lifting parallelogram, a precondition for optimal cross-cutting into multiple lengths. The Vario-Cut model is specially suited to high-performance companies: a robust base machine and vertical guidance of the chain bar ensure consistency and precision, batch after batch. The VC-SHK is aimed at high-throughput sawmills and reprocessing units that have to cross-cut packages into multiple lengths with reliable powered positioning and high cut quality.
