Description

HS finger jointing cutters LEUCO, PUR bonding are designed for use on finger jointing lines, on machines without a crosscutting device, and as a flexible tool for finger jointing with fibre-filled or unfilled PU glue. Their field of application covers the finger jointing of softwoods, hardwoods and exotic woods, with a joint length of 15 mm. Stated design features: standard for PUR bonding, joint length of 15 mm, HS suitable for softwoods and HS Solid 34 suitable for softwoods with knots. Claimed strengths: HS Solid 34: high bending strength, tool life 1.5 to 2 times longer than HS finger jointing cutters, and topcoat 104: tool life twice as long as HS finger jointing cutters. The series comprises 4 versions: outside diameter from 170 to 260 mm, bore of 50 mm, cutting width of 28.6 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS).
