HS hydro planing tool bodies Rotaplan LEUCO equip hydro moulders. Applications intended by the manufacturer: planing solid wood. Design details given by the manufacturer: max. speed = 6,000 rpm. Benefits claimed in use: a high level of concentricity and vibration-free rotation thanks to perfect centring and the Weinig hydro system, and a high feed rate while keeping optimal cut quality. The article group brings together 12 versions: outside diameter of 203 mm, bore of 50 mm, cutting width from 100 to 310 mm and number of teeth from 6 to 16. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: fitted with HS knives 30 x 3 mm, and alternative cutting material: ST for softwoods and hardwoods; HW for hardwoods and exotic woods.
