HS single-flute auger bit – cross-cutting centres LEUCO is part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. The tool is used for chip-free drilling in all softwoods on cross-cutting centres. In terms of design, LEUCO provides: a high-quality single-edge helical bit with a specially ground roof-shaped point and a very stable spiral. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: very good retention of cylindrical dowels thanks to the negative tolerance on the drilling diameter, the special geometry of its head makes it particularly suited to drilling planed or finished glulam beams, and the entry and exit of the hole show markedly less breakout than with conventional single-flute auger bits. The range comes in 17 versions: drilling diameter from 12 to 32 mm, shank from 12 to 13 mm, overall length of 460 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS). To consider before ordering: suitable only for use on cross-cutting centres.
