Pre-Weathering Oil

Description

Decorative and matt protective wood finish based on natural oil for all woods outdoors. Microporous, it lets the wood breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, extremely resistant to weather and UV. Does not crack, peel or flake. Easy application without sanding; a primer coat is not necessary. Easy application without lap marks. Does not dry during application. The finish contains active substances that protect the coating against mould, algae and fungi and that have been effective for decades. Area of application: Osmo Pre-Weathering Oil is perfectly suited to all exterior woods: doors, windows and shutters (building elements with prescribed dimensions), carports, wooden façades, balconies, wooden terraces, fences, pergolas and garden sheds (building elements with non-prescribed dimensions). Application: Apply the first coat with the Osmo Decking Brush, the Application Set for Tinted Oil or the microfibre roller in a thin layer in the direction of the wood grain and smooth carefully. Let dry for 4 to 6 hours in a well-ventilated area. Then apply a second coat. In the case of renovation, it is generally sufficient to apply 1 coat on the cleaned surface.
