Description
HW cylindrical head boring bit LEUCO, “Light” equips stationary drilling machines, automatic drilling machines and CNC machining centres. Applications intended by the manufacturer: the chip-free drilling of hinge holes in solid wood and wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: 2 chip clearers, 2 scribers and a centring point, and brazed in HW. Benefits claimed in use: chip-free drilling thanks to scribers with a special geometry, even when drilling at the panel edge, a chip clearance that allows very good extraction, the ability to drill very close to the underside of the panel thanks to a short centring point, and a low cutting force. The article group brings together 24 versions: drilling diameter from 15 to 35 mm, shank of 10 mm, overall length from 57.5 to 70 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: cylindrical shank with flat, with adjusting screw M5x10 DIN 551, and adjusting screw Ident-No. 186017 M5x11.5 for the Weeke quick-change drill chuck is to be ordered separately.
