Description

HW insert shank tool body LEUCO, t3-System equips cutting centres and CNC machines. Applications intended by the manufacturer: facing, rebating and sizing solid wood and wood-based materials free of chipping and bumps. Design details given by the manufacturer: curved triangular reversible knives with knives cutting from bottom to top and from top to bottom, and cutting material: HW. Benefits claimed in use: facing and rebating with not the slightest chipping, and thanks to the curved reversible knives there are no bumps on the machined surface. The article group brings together 5 versions: outside diameter from 54 to 61 mm, shank from 20 to 25 mm, overall length from 120 to 162.5 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: helical plunging, pockets with a diameter greater than Ø 60, and feed per tooth fz = 0.2 to 0.5 mm.
