HW insert surfacing shank tool body LEUCO, t3-System is designed for use on cross-cutting centres and CNC machines. Its field of application covers rebating solid wood and wood-based materials free of breakout and free of marks. Stated design features: curved triangular reversible knives, pulling from top to bottom, also for rebates < 21 mm, cutting material: HW and HL Solid 20 for hardwoods and softwoods. Claimed strengths: rebating with not the slightest breakout, thanks to the curved reversible knives there are no marks on the machined surface, and excellent surface and edge quality. The series comprises 2 versions: outside diameter from 54 to 61 mm, shank of 25 mm, overall length of 100 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: spiral plunging, pockets with a diameter greater than Ø 60, feed per tooth fz = 0.2 to 0.5 mm, and reversible knife 9209773 pre-cut without projection, suitable for facing without a groove.
