Description

HW ripping saw blades with chip limiters are designed for use on table saws and special machines and are particularly suited to knotty timber. Their field of application covers ripping cuts in solid wood. Stated design features: tooth form: alternate top bevel “WS” and cutting material: HW HL Board 10. Claimed strengths: no tooth breakage in loose knots thanks to the chip limiters, and laser cutting to reduce the noise level. The series comprises 7 versions: outside diameter from 250 to 500 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width from 3.2 to 3.8 mm and number of teeth from 24 to 44. Cutting material: alloy steel (HL) and carbide (HW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: re-boring possible up to Ø 80 mm at extra cost.
