HW segments for segmented hoggers LEUCO are part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. Their field of application covers the complete hogging of offcuts in wood-based materials. Stated design features: the flank of the first tooth of the segment is bevelled at 10 degrees, with axial angle and brazed in HW. Claimed strengths: no exit chipping when ripping. The series comprises 2 versions. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: for offcut widths up to 18 mm, ready for mounting on HW and DP segmented hoggers Ø 200 mm and Ø 250 mm, and segments to be mounted only as a set; one set consists of 4 segments for Ø 200 mm / 6 segments for Ø 250 mm.
