HW spiral tool bodies LEUCO are designed for use on moulders and stationary machining centres. Their field of application covers jointing or the rough or finish planing of solid wood. Stated design features: with curved 4-edge reversible knives, a spiral arrangement of the reversible knives and a split cut, and a steel tool body for very high loads. Claimed strengths: ease of machining, minimum cutting force and a reduced noise level. The series comprises 12 versions: outside diameter from 125 to 140 mm, bore of 40 mm, cutting width from 80 to 240 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: carbide (HW).
