Description
Jarana is among the Brazilian species imported by Guillemette & Cie for the French timber industry. The manufacturer's data sheet directs it towards the manufacture of decking joists, support members that then carry a deck or a covering. It is sold as sawn timber cut to order: the required sections are agreed with the customer and then prepared to order. The timbers are selected from sustainably managed forests, in partnership with the company's South American suppliers. FSC or PEFC certification concerns only batches identified as such; its availability is checked before ordering and does not automatically cover all the volumes offered for sale.
