Jatoba is an exotic hardwood from Brazil that Guillemette & Cie lists in its selection of timbers imported from South America. The manufacturer's data sheet highlights wood flooring and decking, two classic outlets for tropical species in floor coverings. This solid timber is supplied as sawn timber cut to order, each batch being prepared to the sections requested by the customer. Sourcing rests on sustainably managed forests, selected upstream with the company's suppliers. FSC or PEFC certification can be offered, but only on batches identified as certified; it is confirmed at the time of order and does not extend automatically to all volumes.
