Description
The liquid part of the KEIM Lignosil-HRP repair system, this component comes in at two moments. On its own, it impregnates the sides of the checks the day before filling; combined with the HRP-Pulver powder, it makes up the two-component filler that closes splits and losses in boards, beams and exterior facings. Brown in colour, it has a density of around 0.9 to 1.0 g/cm³ and comes in a 0.85 kg metal pail. Once hardened, the mix lets vapour migrate and is applied with a trowel, a spatula, a brush or by machine. Any repair means first cutting out the damaged parts back to sound wood and sanding the checked areas without fail. A Lignosil coating then covers the filling, not before seven days. Horizontal or sloping surfaces subject to rain fall outside the field of use. Tools are rinsed with white spirit substitute.
