KEIM Lignosil-Scudo – Insulating coat against bleed-through of wood colourants

Description

KEIM Lignosil-Scudo is a colourless, water-based intermediate coat designed for KEIM Lignosil-Color and Lignosil-Inco wood paint systems. It reduces the risk of bleed-through of naturally occurring colourants in certain woods, which can cause staining in the finish. Suitable for appropriate wood substrates indoors and outdoors, Scudo is applied, if necessary, between the first and second coats of Lignosil paint. In this use, it must always be overcoated with the specified KEIM Lignosil finish. A preliminary test helps to check the wood’s behaviour and the desired appearance.
