Description
Clear water-based sealing product, moisture-regulating, intended for the treatment of end grain. Beam ends and the grooved ends of decking boards are its main targets: these are the areas where the capillaries of the wood are open and where water penetrates fastest, often the origin of the first defects in an exterior structure. Applied to these sections, the product greatly limits the uptake of water and moisture by the substrate and reduces the migration of wood extractives towards the visible surface. The film can still be overcoated with a later finish, dries quickly and is applied without particular difficulty. It is suitable both indoors and outdoors. The formulation is registered with the German Sustainable Building Council under code EG3EUQ. Coverage is between 150 and 200 ml/m² in two coats, in 0.25, 0.75 and 2.5 litre tins.
