Description
White water-based protective primer, intended for softwoods used outdoors out of ground contact and due to receive a woodstain, a paint or a varnish. Cladding, gates, pergolas, exterior windows and doors are its usual substrates. Its white colour makes it particularly suited to preparing surfaces that will then receive the Koralan Isolierfarbe Weiß insulating undercoat or Koralan Außenfarbe paint: the light base limits the number of coats needed to reach the required opacity. Protection of the film against blue stain and mould completes the formulation. The product fills the pores, sands easily and improves both the durability and the adhesion of the subsequent coats. It dries quickly and gives off little smell. Stated coverage is 120 to 140 ml/m², in 0.75 and 2.5 litre tins.
