Description
Thixotropic alkyd-bound intermediate coat woodstain, solvent-borne, intended for the decorative finishing of timber of good or limited dimensional stability and for the protection of exterior timber installed out of ground contact. Timber houses, exterior doors and windows are its usual applications. The thixotropic character of the product limits runs on vertical surfaces, which makes work easier on tall façades. The manufacturer recommends prior treatment with the Koranol Grund Farblos primer. The film obtained remains elastic, transparent and satin in appearance, regulates the moisture of the substrate and resists the weather; its strongly water-repellent character limits water uptake. Eighteen colours make up the range. Coverage is between 160 and 200 ml/m² for two to three coats, in 0.75, 2.5, 5 and 20 litre tins.
