Description
Professional version of the manufacturer's alkyd-bound preservative woodstain, solvent-borne. It combines protective impregnation of the wood, the primer function and decorative protection against the weather. Unlike the standard version, in which only the coating film is protected, this formulation acts preventively against blue stain and mould growth and is on that account a biocidal product authorised under European Regulation 528/2012. Water-repellent waxes complete the formulation. The product is used on timber houses, exterior cladding and high-end fencing, preferably on softwoods. The finish is highly transparent, open-pored, regulates moisture, does not flake and stands up to the weather. Biocidal products must be used with care; read the label before any use. Coverage of 166 to 180 ml/m², in 2.5, 5 and 20 litre tins.
