Description
Water-based protective product, formulated from colloidal silicon dioxide and free of biocidal active substances. It provides preventive protection for timber components installed inside buildings, falling under use class 1, against attack by the house longhorn beetle, Hylotrupes bajulus. Its effectiveness has been assessed to DIN EN 46-1 and confirmed by MPA Eberswalde test report 32/25/10855/01. The absence of a biocidal active substance is its main attraction for interior work where low emissions are sought. The product is odourless, open to water vapour diffusion and can be overcoated with a later finish. It is applied by brush, roller or spray, at a rate of 100 g/m² in one to two passes. It is packed in a 25 kg container.
