Description
Lithium silicate based protective product, intended for the structural measures that prevent dry rot from spreading from the masonry into the timber. After treatment, the masonry is also protected against fresh contamination. The formulation is free of biocidal active substances, boron-free, free of heavy metals and non-halogenated; it has a corrosion-inhibiting effect on steel, which allows it to be used where reinforcement is present. The product is applied by brush or by spray. The manufacturer imposes several restrictions: the work is reserved for specialists specifically trained on this product, it requires a refurbishment concept specific to the building, the remedial plan may be drawn up only by a trained expert and the work may be carried out only by a trained company. The product holds general building authority technical approval number Z-9.1-894.
