Extraction & treatment of air
Description
The PJ400 is a mobile extraction unit with self-cleaning filter sleeves, supplied by Larenn and designed for outdoor installation. Its welded galvanised sheet steel structure includes a large settling chamber that shields the sleeves from the direct impact of the dust and extends their service life. Cleaning is by Pulse Jet reverse compressed air blasts, triggered as soon as the differential pressure across the filter exceeds the threshold, and then automatically when the fan stops. The 5.5 kW 400 V motor delivers 4 800 m³/h at 2 500 Pa for 72 dB(A), the fan being housed in a sound-insulated chamber on the clean air side. The 23.1 m² of antistatic polyester felt sleeves drop the sawdust into two 250 litre metal bins on castors, with quick locking and disposable antistatic bags. The extraction connection is 250 mm and the complete unit, 2 445 × 1 000 × 2 360 mm, weighs 750 kg. The unit complies with ATEX zones 21 and 22, with an air receiver, a pressure switch, a non-return flap and an explosion vent.
