Description

The PL974 is the most automated glazing and inspection press in the Larenn range for timber and PVC frames. Its two moving beams travel on pneumatic cylinders, stay centred and synchronised, and retract individually into the plane of the moving frame for through-feed working in mid-line. Pneumatic clamping of the frames is operated from the control panel, while the moving frame rises and falls over 500 mm. The 200 mm PVC roller conveyor is floor mounted and cut away for wide sills. The beams are 2 500 mm high for a usable pressing width of 2 500 mm. The PL974B version adds pneumatic tilting of the table, which allows the frame to be moved from the vertical to the horizontal for assembly and finishing work. Infeed or outfeed conveyors integrate the press into a production line. The PL970 and PL972 in the same range have respectively one fixed beam and two manually moved retractable beams.
