Leica iCON Trades digital template software

Description

Leica iCON Trades for creating digital templates meets the requirements of stonemasons and interior fit-out professionals. The software produces accurate templates on site from the points surveyed, without first going through the office. Data is collected by laser, with the Leica vPen or by line scans, which leaves the choice of method according to the configuration of the room and the accessibility of the points. The built-in CAD tools then allow the drawing to be completed directly on site: offsets, radii, dimensions and openings for a hob, a sink, a tap or power sockets. The finished file goes straight to the numerically controlled machine for manufacture. This continuity, from surveying the points through to machine programming, limits re-entry and the risk of error while increasing accuracy. The structured interface guides the operator step by step. The software is stated to suit the Leica iCON ICS20 and ICS50 stations.
