Description
Sawing acrylic glass frequently produces scratches, melt marks or chipping on the edge, requiring rework before bonding, polishing or flame polishing. The BrillianceCut circular saw blade eliminates this step: the resulting edge can be used directly, without any intermediate operation. Its cutting geometry and laser decorations filled with plastic material ensure a stable cut, quiet operation and chip-free edges. The blade can be resharpened up to twenty times, which lowers machining costs relative to the tool’s service life. It is offered in diameters 303, 350, 380, 400 and 450 mm and fits common panel and rip saws. Leitz primarily intends it for PMMA and polycarbonate; it also delivers very good results on polymer-bonded materials such as Corian, Varicor or HI-MACS. Versions are available from stock.
