Description
Planing and rebating panels requires tools that are both lightweight and discreet, to spare both the operator and the spindle. The Diamaster WhisperCut tool holder is based on a light-alloy body whose optimized shape reduces noise emissions by up to 5 dB(A) and halves the mass compared with a steel body. The diamond cutting elements are removable: only the worn edges are replaced, while the body remains reusable. Depending on the version, the tool can be resharpened three to twelve times. The EdgeExpert variant targets seam-free technology, for which Leitz recommends a play-free interface such as HSK 32 R or Hydro; the Hydro and HSK 32 R versions provide maximum concentricity and flatness. Chip extraction relies on DFC technology. The tool is offered from 60 mm in diameter, on stationary machines as well as on throughfeed lines.
