Description

Joinery machining runs from milling window cut-outs to drilling location holes, which usually means several tools and as many changes. HeliCut Monobloc brings these operations together in a single tool: drilling, pockets, tenons, grooves and rebates are all done with the same cutter, which removes tool changes and the stops that go with them. Its one-piece structure brings stability and damps vibration, while sparing the machine. The peripheral cutting edge gives chip-free results, and the geometry, together with separate chip evacuation, makes it possible to drill cleanly, with no intermediate clearing. The reversible carbide inserts offer four edges and are quick to change. The tool measures 40 mm in diameter by 180 mm of useful length, exists with the usual HSK holders and the S30 shaft, and works solid wood, wood-based materials, plastics and foams.
