Leitz NiRo Premium Collet Chuck

Description

A collet chuck works for many years in a variety of applications, which eventually leaves its mark on the toolholder: corrosion sets in and performance drops. Leitz responded with a stainless-steel clamping collet system designed to last without losing precision. The clamping nut is mounted on ball bearings with a trapezoidal thread, and a dedicated clamping device makes handling simple and safe. The holding forces are twice those of commercially available chucks at a comparable tightening torque, i.e. 80 Nm; the runout achieved with OZ collets extends tool life. The geometry is around 15% slimmer than that of standard chucks, making it possible to work even when the available space is limited. The chuck clamps shanks from 3 to 25 mm and speeds up tool changes. Available from stock.
