Description
Single-panel cutting in the furniture industry calls for sustained feed speeds and a finished cut quality, even as substrates and coatings change all the time. The RazorCut and RazorCut PLUS circular saw blades handle this variety: a specific cutting geometry and a random tooth pitch give perfect edges and smooth surfaces, at finished size as well as before edge banding. The productivity gain reaches 50 % compared with a conventional blade, with a noise reduction of around 4 dB(A). The PLUS variant takes tool life and quiet running further, which makes it the choice for high-output lines. Leitz advises using them together with a diamond scoring unit. The blades cut panels singly or in packs up to 60 mm thick, can be reground several times and carry a carbide cutting material.
