Description
Sawing is one of the noisiest operations in wood-processing workshops. The WhisperCut circular saw blade was designed to reduce this noise level: its design cuts emissions by around 6 dB(A) at idle compared with a conventional diamond blade, both no-load and during cutting. Its diamond tips provide a cutting life far superior to that of a carbide blade and allow two re-sharpenings. The standard 3.2 mm kerf width makes it possible to keep the riving knives and scoring units already in service. The body remains stable, including during mitre cuts. The blade is suitable for panel saws and stationary saws, vertical panel saws and CNC machines, and handles coated particleboard, plywood, compact laminates as well as PVC and aluminium profiles.
