Description

The WDE Maspell PRESS L 3.6 is a vacuum press kiln, designed for fast, high-quality drying of solid wood. The timber is laid between 5 heating plates measuring 1200×6000 mm which, under vacuum, lower the boiling point of water and speed up moisture extraction while treating the material gently. Its net capacity is 3.6 m³ of timber. Heating is by hot water. The chamber measures 8000×2000×1200 mm and weighs about 2000 kg. The press process limits distortion and is particularly suited to fine species and heavy thicknesses. Drying is run automatically by the API touchscreen system, which regulates temperature and pressure according to species, thickness and moisture content.
