The WDE Maspell TVS ROLL 2.05 E 15 L10000 is part of the Termo Vuoto (TVS) system for the thermal modification of timber under vacuum. It combines high-temperature heat treatment with a vacuum environment to modify the timber permanently: greater dimensional stability, better durability and through-colouring, with no chemical additive. The installation takes 1 stack(s) measuring 1200×1400×10000 mm, for a net capacity of 15 m³. Heating is by electric elements. The chamber measures 13000×3000×3300 mm and weighs about 12500 kg. This thermo-vacuum process is aimed at manufacturers looking for technically modified timber, valued for outdoor and demanding uses. The cycle is run automatically by the API touchscreen system, according to the species, the thickness and the intended modification programme.
