Description
Mb Rock + is a dual-density stone wool board intended for the internal lining of timber frame construction. It is installed in the traditional way between battens, in addition to the insulation placed between the studs: this added layer reduces the thermal bridges that remain in front of the structural members. The dual density makes installation easier, the firmer upper layer taking the fixing loads while the lower layer follows the substrate. The nominal densities are 110 kg/m³ for the upper layer and 60 kg/m³ for the lower layer, with a declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.035 W/(m·K). The board is semi-rigid under the ACERMI criterion, non-combustible Euroclass A1, with an A indoor air emissions rating. It is listed in a single thickness of 60 mm in 1200 x 600 mm format, for a thermal resistance R of 1.7 m²·K/W.
