Description
Mb Rock is the ROCKWOOL single-density stone wool board for insulating timber frame construction between structural studs. Its flexible edge compresses slightly during installation and adjusts to common spacings without cutting, which speeds up filling the panels and limits perimeter gaps. The board also insulates intermediate timber floors from below, between joists or beams, before the finishing ceiling is installed. Semi-rigid under the ACERMI criterion, it has a declared thermal conductivity λ of 0.034 W/(m·K) and a density of 50 kg/m³, for reaction to fire A1 and an A+ indoor air emissions rating. Eight product codes cover thicknesses from 95 to 220 mm, in widths of 565 and 590 mm matched to frame spacings, giving thermal resistances from 2.75 to 6.45 m²·K/W.
