Mengkulang is a tropical hardwood imported by Guillemette & Cie from Indonesia and Malaysia. The manufacturer's data sheet intends it for joinery, exterior as well as interior, where it serves as a utility timber for fit-out and manufacturing. It is offered as sawn timber cut to order, with sections agreed and then prepared to order according to the project. Sourcing comes from sustainably managed forests and draws on the company's long experience of South-East Asian timbers. FSC or PEFC certification depends on the batches identified as such: it is confirmed product by product at the time of order and is not automatic across all the volumes offered.
