Description

With the Mühlböck Dynamic progressive kiln, sawn timber is stacked lengthwise on transport trolleys, then moved fully automatically through successive climate zones. The timber is exposed to different conditions according to the drying requirements: the kiln is built with several zones matched to the species, the dimensions, the initial moisture content, the target final moisture content and the level of quality sought. This continuous operation makes it ideal for drying large quantities of timber of the same length. A fully automatic, optimised loading system carries the timber through the installation for a high and steady throughput. The Dynamic progressive kiln is aimed at high-volume sawmills looking for continuous, uniform and automated drying with controlled energy efficiency on standardised production runs.
