Description
This Grade QB1 in boules comes from French oak logs that are mostly PEFC certified. The logs are sawn into unedged boards then restacked into boules, cleanly debarked and trimmed. The timber is offered green, air-dried under cover or kiln-dried, and stored on dried profiled stickers to keep staining under control. The boules are strapped and identified by a barcode label. Available in lengths from 2.20 to 6 m and thicknesses from 18 to 100 mm, this fine joinery and cabinetmaking grade is aimed at joinery and furniture. Acceptance and grading are carried out green, with a minimum volume of 5 m³ per thickness.
